Road Network

Introduction

The management and maintenance of bridges in road networks is responsible by many bridge authorities to use computer-based databases or bridge management systems (BMSs) as data management and analysis tools to aid them in performing many important bridge management functions and decisions. Due to superior spatial data handling capabilities, geographic information system (GIS) technology is increasingly being considered for implementation in many infrastructure planning and management systems, including bridge management systems

Data Acquisition 

In Malaysia, the road network data is required by Public Works Department (JKR) and also one of the implementing agencies under the Ministry of Work (MOW) (with exception of Sabah and Sarawak, whereby JKR in these two states is under respective state government).

Cost

Schedule of Rate for Bulk Works is part of the document based on the contract drawings and specifications to be used as a basis for valuation of variation. Schedule of Rate was updates two years by the Unit Cost, CKUB current market price of building materials, labor wages and hire of plant/machinery. It is sold to the public in Central Tender Unit, Procurement and Property Mangement Branch, Ground Floor, Block A, Minintry of Works, Jalan Sultan Salahuddin, 50582 Kuala Lumpur at RM 5.00 per copy.

In JUPEM, Road Map is sold at RM 1.00 per copy for hardcopy and RM130-RM960 per copy for digital depends on scale.

Building Data

Introduction

The collection and maintenance of buildings in geospatial features for spatial analysis and mapping is quite expensive. Buildings can be analysed in 2D or 3D with the help of ArcMap or 3D Analyst in order to support modelling and simulation planning effort.

Laser Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) Data

Introduction

LiDAR is an active remote sensing technology recently developed using laser light pulses emitted at a rate between 5,000 and 500,000 pulses per second in a scanning array to the area of interest from a plane or helicopter (Chanikarn,2010). Some LiDAR data can be downloaded for free, but some of its have a specific cost to be paid. The LiDAR companies also sell their data to researchers and its clients.

Cost

LiDAR per 1hectar rm25 (100ha = 1km) and it includes the flying cost, data processing, fieldwork and map printing. 

SATELLITE IMAGERY IMAGE (QUICKBIRD & SPOT)

Introduction

QuickBird is a high-resolution commercial earth observation satellite, owned by DigitalGlobe and launched in 2001. The satellite collects panchromatic (black & white) imagery at 60-70 centimeter resolution and multispectral imagery at 2.4- and 2.8-meter resolutions. DigitalGlobe is simply the best at identifying the world’s natural resources, monitoring pipelines and facilities, understanding the earth’s environmental condition, protecting homelands and borders, responding to emergencies and natural disasters; then rebuilding, and planning investments in multi-million dollar infrastructure developments. Spot satellite image has been introduced by Spot Image, a public limited company created in 1982 by the French Space Agency, Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), the IGN, and Space Manufacturers (Matra, Alcatel, SSC, etc.) is a subsidiary of EADS Astrium (99%). The company is the commercial operator for the SPOT Earth observation satellites. The 2 SPOT satellites in orbit (Spot 4 and 5) provide images with a large choice of resolutions – from 2.5 m to 10 m.

Data Acquisitions

In Malaysia, the satellite imagery data is acquired by Malaysian Remote Sensing Agency (MRSA) under Ministry of Science,Technology and Innovation (MOSTI). The data also can be downloaded in some specific websites.  The QuickBird Company, DigitalGlobe also acquired data for their clients and they may but it online or work directly with their company.

Cost

In Malaysia, the Malaysian Remote Sensing Agency (MRSA) has provided the satellite imagery image for Malaysia region such as satellite image from LANDSAT, Spot, QuickBird, Radarsat and IKONOS. The costs are varies due to the size of area and type of clients.

22 AND MARRIED??

dua minggu ni, aku dikejutkan dengan berita dua rakan sekolah yang bakal mendirikan rumah tangga..alhamdulillah..dah sampai seru..tapi, yang tak bestnya, terasa diri aku tua pulak..jeles pulak tu..orang lain dah dua tapak tinggalkan aku..kawan sama-sama main badminton 5 sebelah dulu, dah jauh tinggalkan aku..aku ni, bayang2 pun tak nampak..huhu..

baru 22 kot umur~~~apa pun takde..nak beli ubat gigi pun, mitak duit kat ibu..haha..nasib baik uncle JPA bagi duit, tapi, tu pun tak cukup..nasib baik, ibu cikgu, boleh jadi sumber pendapatan..haha..motor tak habis bayar..nasib baik, minyak motor mampu isi..haha..rumah takde..semua takde..hampeh!!!kenapa???sebab aku student..baru 22..haha..muda lagi kot..enjoy dulu masa remaja ni..aku belum bersedia nak bazir duit pegi date segala..bazir masa lepak dating, sedangkan aku boleh tengok movie kt laptop..belum bersedia nak pikul beban as a wife, sebab aku sebenarnya, langsung takde nafsu nak kahwin lagi..tak rasa pape..

adakah aku terlalu focus kat aim aku, sampai aku terlupa hal-hal macam ni??huhu..after SPM, satu je tekad aku dulu, i need to change..aku tak nak tengok ibu aku sedih lagi, macam after kitorang amek result SPM dulu..takkan aku biarkan ibu aku kecewa lagi..berbekalkan tekad tu, alhamdulillah, aku berjaya..masalahnya, kita takkan capai semuanya dalam satu masa..sebab tu aku termiss bab ni..terlupa bab ni..terlupa nak fikir..sebab bagi aku, semuanya tak penting lagi..aku takde banyak masa nak pikir tu semua..akibatnya, aku sendiri yang tercicir dua tapak dibelakang orang lain..orang dah sibuk nak nikah, aku ni takde nafsu langsung nak nikah..kenapa??adakah aku terlalu ambitious???mengejar goal yang dah aku set sejak hari result SPM aku keluar???adakah itu puncanya aku langsung tidak menghiraukan segala yang aku fikir tidak penting..aku taknak aim yang aku dah set, lari pasal benda2 macam ni..

akukah yang paranoid???rasanya, aku kena jumpa kaunselor pasal benda ni..huhu..berat sungguh aku ni..kenapa aku langsung takde nafsu nak kawen???dengar khutbah nikah time kamil kawen pun, tak rasa pape..haha..pelik b. ajaib..somebody, help me!!!!

ROAD CURVE MADE BY GROUP 4

Alhamdulillah, settle sudah proses membina road curve di Klebang..setelah empat hari turun site, plus dua hari processing..design curve selama 15 jam..start pukul 9, sampai 12 tengah malam tadi. tepat!!!hari ni, turun site, dengan harapan menyiapkan semua kerja..even ada tipu sikit, tapi procedure still betul..congrats to all my group member~~~haha

HEARTLESS

am i heartless???really???i know i'm heartless, but somehow, its not just me~~~

hari ni, tiba di MELAKA once again for a survey camp... urgh!!!!bosannya!!!!kenapa mesti MELAKA???banyak lagi UiTM dalam MALAYSIA ni..kenapa MELAKA menjadi pilihan???

first of all, i really sad coz' tak dapat sama bilik dengan member2~~~huhu..sedih sangat~~~terpisah, jauh plak tu~~~don't wanna talk about it anyway, coz' i'm really sad + frustrated..huhu..

second, i really don't wanna come here, doing the survey camp..tak dapat tengok GEMERSIK KALBU hari2..tak dapat tengok BICARA HATI..tak dapat tengok bola~~~tak dapat kacau HABIB~~huhu..frust gle datang sini!!!!

last but not least, i really hate coming to MALACCA having a survey camp!!!!argh!!!!buatlah kat tempat lain pulak!!!! SHAH ALAM pun takpe~~jimat duit sewa rumah~~

BAUCAR BUKU 1 MALAYSIA

yeay!!!!seronok gila nak PRU13 ni!!!haha..macam2 dapat..all i can say, tq MALAYSIA!!!!haha..btw, tulis ni sebab nak kongsi kenapa BAUCAR ini diberikan..kenapa tak bagi duit je, macam dia bagi kat budak sekolah???

1. Sebab nak pastikan duit tu dapat ketangan pelajar, bukan parents pelajar..ada ura-ura mengatakan beberapa kerat ibu bapa bertindak mengambil hak anak mereka itu..haha..teruk betul..government bagi duit tu untuk keperluan anak-anak, bukan mak bapak anak-anak..haha..n macam tak percaya, parents yang kerja doktor, pegawai, sanggup beratur dari pagi nak amek duit tu..haha..bila sekolah mintak sikit sumbangan, semua taknak..ish3..teringat masa sekolah dulu, kerajaan ada bagi duit tambang untuk student SBP dua kali setahun..dapatlah, 40++..tapi, duit yang dapat kat tangan student masa tu, sikit je..lebih separuh, sekolah amek untuk masuk dalam tabung sekolah..buat dana untk future project..n, time sekolah dulu ada main saham kat koperasi, kalau ikutkan, abes f5, banyaklah duit tu n boleh mintak balik..tapi, dengan rela hati, kitorang bagi untuk masuk dalam akaun persatuan batch masing2..takde pun parents bising???tak kisah pun langsung..ada pendapat mengatakan, parents yang hantar anak ke SBP ni, mentaliti lain sikit dengan yang sekolah biasa.. yeke???entahlah..aku punya parents, anak semua dekat asrama..haha..

2. Memastikan duit digunakan ditempat yang berfaedah..seperti ni..dia memang dah khas untuk beli buku je..benda lain, tak boleh!!!kalau dia bagi duit, belum tentu duit tu digunakan untuk keperluan belajar..ada yang kata, budak-budak sibuk beli handset..ish3..saya dulu dah abes darjah 6, baru ada handset

3. Memandangkan PRU13 akan menerima banyak pengundi muda, inilah cara diorang nak pancing undi..nak2 generasi kedua ni, banyak yang dah start memberontak..contoh terdekat, time BERSIH 2.0, ramai penuntut universiti yang terlibat..sampai UiTM send email kat student-student dia, pekeliling dalam AKTA 174..mals nak tulis pekeliling tu..tapi, ada kaitan dengan tindakan kalau pelajar terlibat dengan parti politik

3 reason tu, main reason kot~~~yang dapat difikirkan dengan akal yang waras ni~~~haha..apa pun niat kerajaan, aku still tq sebab bagi baucar ni~~~tapi, tak bermakna undi saya untuk anda..haha..undi saya adalah rahsia..hari pilihanraya tu nanti baru decide..haha..

SEA GAMES 2011

26th SEA GAMES 2011. One of the most prestigious sports event. But, this edition is quite different from previous edition. Why? It's held in JAKARTA-PALEMBANG. One thing for sure, every edition, the host will gained much advantage. I'm not surprise when ASIAN GOLD MEDALIST of karate lost to the unknown athlete from host country. I thought; yeah, they're the host. But, things got worse when all the results surprised me much! INDONESIAN whom I never heard on Taekwando or Karate before, won against MALAYSIAN stars whose have much more experience before. The malaysian officials began to complaints the juries decisions. Luckily we got 4 golds. maybe after realizing how ridiculous their wins are. Then, in many sports events, MALAYSIAN always in a same group with the host country. I'm so mad!!! Isn't that too far??? When our athlete got into the court, they're booed by the host's supporters. When our athlete won, they booed also. When our national anthem played, they make noise. Showing disrespectful acts towards our country. The flag used is not even our original JALUR GEMILANG. What happened? I only write backing up my country. I didn't know bout other countries. But they seems to be too much to my country. The 100++ gold medals they got all from the cheating.

Now, to football.

MALAYSIA grouped with the other top three countries dominating football: THAILAND, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA. This is what dirty tactics called. The host placed all the great team in one group to brighten their chance in winning gold medal. SINGAPORE, THAILAND and MALAYSIA are the obstacles. So, putting the 3 countries in the same group as them help them much as the two unlucky teams will be eliminated. And, they expect MALAYSIA to lost too as they always have some grudge againts our country (go learn HISTORY if you don't know). They won the games against SINGAPORE, THAILAND and CAMBODIA. MALAYSIA win too but, draw with SINGAPORE. The final group stage game is super important as MALAYSIA need to win for a ticket to the semi-final n INDONESIA need to gain their pride again as they lost to MALAYSIA before on AFF SUZUKI CUP 2010. Both countries known as hated to each other so much. As the matchday become nearer, the insulting kept going. The match went not quite pleasant as the host supporters are so rude showing disrespectful act to our national anthem. Booed our players. Great game to watch as MALAYSIAN players seems to be too cool to be under great pressure like that. And, guess what? our team won that game securing our semi-final ticket as group winner and met MYANMAR in the semi which actually guarantee our place in final.

On final match day, both team played what we called football. A very great game to watch. A nerve wrecking game. But, too bad, the referee is sooooo biased. Giving MALAYSIAN the undeserving yellow card. But, as i mentioned before, this YOUNG TIGERS are actually too cool to be crack under pressure. They managed to win the game not so easily. The games went to the penalty shoot-out. Should I say, ALLAH really wanna show INDONESIA even how dirty their tactics, how dirty their games, HE the only one will decide everything. Even under the unfair judging, MALAYSIA still won the game. That's what people said FATE..

I hope INDONESIA will be a better host from now on. Other countries also being a host before, but never as dirty as you. This is the dirtiest SEA GAMES ever!!!!!

An ecstatic coach Ong Kim Swee also finally revealed his secret pep talk: "They don't respect you, they don't respect our flag, they don't respect our King and they don't respect your parents. If you allow this to happen, then you are cowards. You must teach them what being Malaysian is all about.
